Website Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Last revised 30/08/2026

The website located at ringlaw.ca (the "Site") is owned and operated by The Blink Decision Company Limited ("we," "us," or "our").

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of any organization you represent, and you confirm that you have the authority to do so. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Site. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

1. The Site is informational only

The Site describes our AI voice agent services. It is provided for general information and marketing purposes.

1.1 No offer. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, a binding quotation, or a commitment to provide services on any particular terms. Descriptions of features, capabilities, pricing, and availability may change without notice and may not reflect what is available to you.

1.2 Services are governed by a separate agreement. If you engage us, our services will be governed exclusively by a written services agreement signed by both parties. These Terms govern only your use of the Site. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed services agreement, the services agreement governs the subject matter it addresses.

1.3 No professional advice. Content on the Site, including any material relating to legal practice, accounting practice, privacy compliance, or regulatory obligations, is general information only. It is not legal, medical, accounting, or other professional advice, and it does not create any professional or advisory relationship. Do not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional regarding your specific circumstances.

1.4 Illustrative content. Demonstrations, sample transcripts, sample dialogues, and example agent behaviour shown on the Site may use fictitious names, businesses, and scenarios. They illustrate general capability and do not represent guaranteed performance, accuracy, or results in any particular deployment.

1.5 No transactions. No products or services can be purchased through the Site, and the Site does not accept payment information.

2. Access to the Site

2.1 Licence. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Site for the purpose of evaluating our services or otherwise engaging with us as a prospective or existing client.

2.2 Restrictions. You may not:

(a)copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, or transmit any part of the Site except as necessary to view it in a browser or to retain a reasonable number of copies for your internal evaluation purposes;
(b)sell, licence, rent, lease, transfer, assign, or commercially exploit the Site or any content on it;
(c)modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from any part of the Site;
(d)reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site, or attempt to derive the underlying prompts, configurations, or logic of any demonstration or interactive feature;
(e)access or use the Site in order to build, train, or improve a competing product or service;
(f)use any robot, scraper, crawler, or other automated means to access, monitor, or extract data from the Site, or use any content from the Site to train or fine-tune a machine learning model, in each case without our prior written consent;
(g)circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control feature of the Site, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure; or
(h)use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

You must keep intact all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices on any permitted copies.

2.3 Changes to the Site. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for doing so.

2.4 No support obligation. We have no obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, or uninterrupted availability of the Site.

3. Intellectual property

3.1 Ownership. All intellectual property rights in the Site and its content (including copyright in text, layout, graphics, code, and demonstration materials), and all trade-marks, trade secrets, and know-how are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you no ownership rights. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3.2 Feedback. If you send us comments, suggestions, or ideas about the Site or our services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid licence to use them for any purpose without restriction, compensation, or attribution. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential or proprietary.

4. Privacy and electronic communications

4.1 Privacy Policy. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://ringlaw.ca/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. It describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under Canadian privacy law. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information, the Privacy Policy governs.

4.2 Cookies. The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for it to function, along with cookie-free visitor statistics provided by our website host. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

4.3 Electronic communications. By submitting a form on the Site, you consent to our contacting you electronically in response. You may consent separately to receiving marketing communications from us. You may withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in any such message or by contacting us at andrew@ringlaw.ca. Notices we provide by email or by posting on the Site satisfy any legal requirement that such notices be in writing.

4.4 Accuracy of information you provide. You agree that any information you submit through the Site is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Do not submit confidential, privileged, or personal information about third parties (including client information, patient records, or matter details) through the Site's forms.

5. Third-party sites and services

The Site may link to or integrate with websites and services operated by third parties, including hosting and email providers. We do not control and are not responsible for those services, their content, or their privacy practices. Links are not endorsements. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and is governed by that third party's own terms.

6. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, complete, current, or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or conditions. To the extent such an exclusion is not permitted, the exclusions above may not apply to you, and any implied warranty or condition that cannot be excluded is limited in duration to ninety (90) days from your first use of the Site, to the extent such a limitation is permitted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

(a)We and our directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to these Terms or your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Site, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
(b)Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). The existence of more than one claim does not increase this limit.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for personal injury or death caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Blink Decision Company Limited and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs and legal fees arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Site, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, at your expense, and you agree to cooperate with that defence. You may not settle any such matter without our prior written consent. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim of which we become aware.

9. Suspension and termination

These Terms apply while you use the Site. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have breached these Terms, and without liability to you.

Sections 1, 2.2, 3, and 5 through 12 survive any termination.

10. Accessibility

If you have difficulty accessing any part of the Site, or you would like information from the Site provided to you in another format, contact us at andrew@ringlaw.ca or 647-463-4126. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

You and we irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, sitting in Milton, for the resolution of any such dispute. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights, or from bringing a claim in Small Claims Court where the claim falls within that court's jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the right to bring or participate in a class proceeding where that right cannot lawfully be waived.

12. General

12.1 Changes to these Terms. We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms take effect when posted, and we will update the "last revised" date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice by listing them on the website homepage. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect means you accept them.

12.2 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site, and supersede any prior understandings on that subject.

12.3 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

12.4 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or of any other.

12.5 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them freely, including in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

12.6 Interpretation. "Including" means "including without limitation." Headings are for convenience only.
